For the past nine years Alison has worked in administration mainly for Aboriginal organisations in the Northern Territory and Western Australia since immigrating from New Zealand in 2000. Alison first became involved in the MoneyBuisness trial project in Kununurra as a MoneyBusiness Worker co-train the trainer in 2006. Alison has had a variety of administration positions and enjoys challenging situations.
Bec Reid
Community Educator, MoneyMob Talkabout
Bec first started working with Indigenous people in Cairns in April 2010 where she was helping young Indigenous adults gain relevant skills in aid to join the Navy. Bec spent 9 ½ years in the Navy and gained a range of skills including finance, administration, human resource etc. She is looking forward to the MoneyMob Talkabout program which will enable her to explore Central Australia whilst helping build financial literacy in Indigenous communities.
Matt Digby
Community Educator Money Mob Talkabout – Alice Springs
Matt has worked in Environmental and Outdoor Education, as a Paramedic and Communications Officer for Ambulance Victoria, and as a tour guide at Kings Canyon. Matt is passionate about all things outdoors and providing opportunities for Aboriginal people in Central Australia. (Matt is enjoying living in Alice Springs after being out bush for a year or so, particularly great coffee and going to the movies.)
