    Kirsten first came into contact with associations, advocacy groups and NFP organisations at uni in the late 80s and has never looked back. Her work in Australia has been with organisations as diverse as St Vincent de Paul, NCOSS and SDN Children’s Services and has most recently managed the corporate services division of a $30million agency. Kirsten has strong skills in finance and administration and loves to solve a problem.
    (In her spare time, Kirsten is loving training for and playing soccer. She also loves to bake)

    Johanna has worked in Marketing and Communications for over 10 years and loves getting her teeth into a good strategic marketing plan. Her strengths are planning, project management and working with people (she is a pretty good talker too!)

    Administrator – Sydney

    Ashleigh has quite a varied background, working in HR and administration roles for construction and mining organisations as well as in the local government sector. Most recently she worked for a not-for-profit organisation that dealt with families/children either in crisis or with learning/communication problems such as immigrant families or children with autism. Ashleigh believes in what the not-for-profit sector stands for and finds working within the industry to be rewarding experience.
    (When she isn’t sorting out the team at Matrix, Ashleigh runs around after her 2 kids as well as working to finish her uni degree)

    Client Manager Financial Management Services – Sydney

    Alex has a background in business, with strengths in financial management. His last ‘serious job’ (he jokes) was in small to medium business banking. He has always had a strong social conscience, and exercised this in 2006 working for an NGO in Guatemala. From this experience he learnt a lot about life, but also how to speak conversational Spanish (‘que bueno!’).
    (Alex is passionate about coffee, and has quickly converted Matrix on Board’s office into a ‘specialty coffee house’. He loves playing and watching AFL on the weekends.)

    Senior Project Manager Management Support Services – Sydney
    Lisa has an academic background but has worked in the not-for-profit sector since 2002. She worked in the addictions field in British Columbia, Canada on a range of projects including a strategic planning framework for the sector and various information and research oriented projects. She now works at Matrix on Board in our organisation development division, bringing to her work a passion for supporting not-for-profits, clear thinking and strong communication skills.

She has outstanding MYOB skills and as a MYOB Certified Consultant continues to provide high quality financial managment services to all of her clients. Grace is also a member of CPA Australia.

She understands government-funded programs from both a funder and client perspective. Throughout her working life, Sally has been an active participant on many non-profit boards.
